To excite the local community and showcase the area’s diverse shopping, dining and unique services, Waldo Week with discounts at participating businesses to experience new places or visit your favorites from February 19 – 25.
In lieu of the annual kickoff party for Waldo Week, the Waldo Community Improvement District has partnered with non-profit Cornerstones of Care to raise money through a virtual auction and donation drive that kicks off on Thursday, February 18 and runs through February 25. The virtual auction will feature a variety of Waldo packages and a raffle to benefit Cornerstones of Care in support of safe and healthy communities for children and families in the Kansas City area and beyond. Now more than ever, Waldo wants to support the local community as well as the businesses that call the neighborhood “home”.
For generations, people have been shopping and dining in Waldo, supporting local businesses, friends and neighbors. The area, stretching along Wornall Road from Gregory to around 85th St., is home to some of Kansas City’s favorite restaurants, bars, coffee shops, and services.
