2021 WALDO ARTIST RFP – CLOSED
We are seeking a Kansas City based artist to create a design that will be showcased for our upcoming 29th Annual Waldo Fall Festival event that represents the Waldo community. While the event will be held on September 18, 2021 – we are seeking a creative design that represents Waldo and can be loved for years to come.
WALDO ILLUSTRATION / DESIGN
Applications are closed for the Waldo Area Business Association to design or illustrate art that will be used for t-shirts for the upcoming 29th Annual Waldo Fall Festival. The selected artist would be asked to create artwork that represents the Waldo community and represents many of the landmarks in the neighborhood. The selected artist must present a proposal for approval and are required to execute this project.
About Waldo:
For generations, people have been shopping and dining in Waldo, supporting local businesses, friends and neighbors. The area, stretching along Wornall Road from Gregory to around 85th St., is home to some of Kansas City’s favorite restaurants, bars, coffee shops, and services.
