Each and every day our Waldo Roadrunners serve as goodwill ambassadors, information sources, Waldo advocates and security resources as they patrol the Waldo CID. That adds up to a lot of miles and wear and tear on bicycles. After four years of use, four of the bikes needed to be replaced. Thanks to Family Bicycles at 7337 Broadway in Waldo, the officers are equipped and on patrol. Even better, two of the former bicycles were able to be repaired and reused allowing officers in Brookside to saddle up again after an extended hiatus.
